56% increase in the demand for home health aides in the
next 10 years.
> Direct Care workers provide essential services ranging from
help with bathing and dressing to taking vital signs and
running errands.
> There are over 30,000 direct care workers in Arizona.
The field is growing and the demand for these workers
is rising.
> Work settings range from individual residences to nursing
homes, and the people served range from young children
to older adults.
