ARIZONA DIRECT CARE WORKFORCE INITIATIVE
The proposed competencies for homemakers, personal care and attendant care workers have been revised based on input from the community. The latest revisions are posted on this page. These competencies are the basis of the proposed training requirement for direct care workers.
Please note: The Principles of Caregiving curriculum (see "Training Manuals") covers most of these competencies, but it is not a complete match. We plan to revise the curriculum in the near future.
